Meet your therapists
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, and Registered Dance/Movement Therapist
I have always known that I wanted to help people. I have been fortunate enough to work in many incredible settings including Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, residential settings with Adolescents, Veterans, incarcerated populations and in private practice. What I have learned is that we all really just want the same things, to feel like ourselves and that version of us is enough. There is no difference between me as an individual and me as a therapist. I love being an active member of my community, teaching snowboarding in the winter and teaching fitness classes at a gym locally, and choreographing local theatre shows. When I’m not working I am mountain biking, soaking up the sunshine, and trail running with my dog, Irie.
Specialties: PTSD, Stress, Grief/Loss, Depression/Anxiety, Life Transitions.
In addition to EMDR therapy, I also provide the opportunity to integrate the expressive arts into sessions, with a focus on increasing body awareness (breathwork, mindfulness, releasing tension, authentic movement) and self-expression. I am a certified reiki master as well which is available to clients who are interested. Although this is available it is not something that is required. I look forward to working with you!

After many years working in varied careers ranging from elevator repair to arboriculture, and concurrently serving in the U.S. military, I found myself at a crossroads. Freshly retired from the military, I had the unique opportunity to redirect my life in a direction of my choosing. After much searching, it became clear that the most fulfilling path I could take would be in service to others.
I know what it’s like to feel weighed down by trauma, anxiety, and depression. Thanks to finding the right therapist, I was able to heal from my past and truly enjoy life again. That powerful experience, combined with my military service, inspired me to help others facing their own battles. After retiring, I chose to dedicate myself to guiding teens and adults through trauma, grief, and life’s challenges.
I’ve come to believe that in early childhood, most of us live as our most authentic selves, content with who we are at our core. As life unfolds, we accumulate experiences, expectations, burdens, and emotional scars that gradually pull us away from that genuine self. Much of adulthood then becomes a journey of peeling back those layers and rediscovering the person we were all along. I find deep meaning in witnessing and supporting people on that journey. And because prevention is always preferable to treatment, I also enjoy helping clients build the skills they need to navigate life’s challenges more skillfully; avoiding some of the baggage they might otherwise accumulate.
Outside the therapy room, I recharge by spending time in nature—whether hiking, canoeing, camping, or pruning ornamental trees. These experiences keep me grounded and connected, and I often find that clients also value the restorative power of nature.
Specialties: Trauma/PTSD, Depression & Anxiety, Grief, Life Transitions
In addition to EMDR therapy, I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness practices to help clients process trauma, manage symptoms, and build meaningful lives.
